Friends, here on the north coast of Ireland it’s getting dark. It’s just after 4pm. The retreat over the weekend prepped me to view the early onset of darkness with curiosity and welcome, rather than dreading the long nights of winter. Last night I took a walk at dusk, and I really noticed the transition from light to darkness. Tonight I’ll walk in the dark again, and I’m actually looking forward to it...
