Dear Friends,
It’s week four of the Habits for the Spirit course, and today’s module is about Beauty. In the module video, I contend that Beauty is not a luxury to be enjoyed once in a blue moon, but an experience we need on a daily basis. I’m not going to say much more than that today. I just want to remind us (myself included) to keep looking for the beauty. To look for the beauty amid the brokenness. To look for the beauty that’s not negated by the brokenness. To look for the beauty that shines through the cracks of the brokenness.
May you find beauty all around you today.
I have a lot of news and updates for you today, so I invite you to read on…

Psalms for the Spirit Ep. 23 with Mihee Kim-Kort
We originally recorded this a few years ago, after both of us had recently contracted Covid and were recovering (both physically and mentally!). We had such fun connecting and giggling at ourselves, even as we delved deep into a difficult subject. Mihee is an inspiration and a balm. She is one of the most real people I know. While being brilliant, she never puts on airs. I hope you enjoy listening to our conversation, which uncovers the role the Psalms played in leading Mihee to speak out in the face of tragedy.

Bless My Feet BOOK!
The Bless My Feet BOOK is coming out soon! It’s a compilation of three years of Bless My Feet writing, questions to ponder, and blessings for your journey. The artwork is inspired by my daughter’s painting (back when she was about 11) and the stunning scenery on the north coast of Ireland, which you will have seen in the images I include in my posts.
Paid subscribers will receive a free ebook in their inbox, and a paperback version will be available for purchase. Here’s a sneak peek at the cover!
